Who You Talk To

Two parties are involved. First is Compareparticipation Roofing, the referral service that takes your request and routes it. Second is an independent local roofing provider from our network, who quotes and does the work.

The provider runs their own business. They set their own schedule, prices and terms.

What Happens After You Reach Out

The steps are short.

• You describe the home, the roof and the problem.
• You are pointed to a provider that serves your area and handles replacement.
• The provider contacts you to set up a roof visit.
• You receive a quote and decide.

Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

A few precise questions save money and surprises.

• Is the quote in writing? It should list materials, labor, tear-off, disposal and permits.
• What happens if the decking is rotted? Ask for the per-sheet price up front.
• How many layers come off? Older homes often carry two. Extra layers raise labor and disposal costs.
• Which material and brand? Get the product name, not just the type.
• What are the license and insurance details? Ask for proof of both.
• What does the warranty cover, and who backs it? Get the terms on paper.
• How will the cost change if the scope changes? Ask how change orders work.

Typical U.S. ranges for a full replacement vary by job. A written quote is the only number worth comparing.

Storm Damage and Insurance

If hail or wind hit your roof, some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy first. Providers can often help document damage for a claim. They cannot promise what an insurer will decide.
